Free Samples

On Saturday, March 28, I did hand reflexology samples at Newton Wellesley's new mammography center in West Natick. I would like to see reflexology covered by health insurance someday and any opportunity to spead the word will do. Someday it will reach enough ears and we will start a revolution. I am not going to drag out the soapbox, but it will be my life's work to make this happen. You heard it here first. What a bunch of anarchists - talking about crazy "let's try to use our healthcare dollars to stay healthy, rather than to get better once we are all sick." Whoops, that slipped out.

New Year, New Laptop, New Heater

It was a whirlwind of activity today, boy howdy. Came into the Littlest Spa, put the heat on. Waited....waited....no heat. New client coming in....no heat. Guy came and fixed the heat. Yeah! Also, no laptop.... Honestly, it is enough to drive you crazy. So since Chuck and the Nerd Herd are works of fiction and only live in my TiVo, I called Computer Care Associates in Framingham and they fixed it up, just like that! A great price, nice people and excellent service. Tell them I sent you! www.help4computers.com 508-370-8080. They rock!!!!

It's Christmastime..There is no need to be afraid...

Ahh...Christmas 1984. I was a preteen dorklet head over heels for New Wave music and then all my favorite British pop stars made a record for the starving in Africa. I remember it like it was yesterday. In my DayGlo pink shirt and skinny tie, short boy's regular haircut. Don't forget the blond piece in the front like John Taylor from Duran Duran. My mother swore I was the only girl that brought in male pop star photos to SuperCuts. But they were all so pretty!

Anyway, I watched the making of BandAid and the video for the song over and over again. It still gives me chills when I hear Paul Young start the opening line. Yes, I know who sang each part. That was the year I fell in love once and for all with Bob Geldof and learned you can change the world one little bit at a time.

The Littlest Spa is selling piles of Gift Certificates for the holidays. You should buy one, too!
